Need Help Choosing a Plan?

Check out this new tool, provided for us by our consultants at Wells Fargo Insurance Service.  This worksheet allows you to compare estimates of the total cost for each of the District's health plan options for your own personal family circumstances.  You'll want to have your rate sheet for 2011/12 before you start.

To use the tool, please read the first page, click on the yellow box at the bottom of the page, and indicate "yes" you have read the disclaimers.  Once you click on "yes", you'll jump to the estimation tool where you can enter your family's information.   Help is available for using this tool at the scheduled times (listed above) in the Ed Center classroom.  Please note that if you call for help with this tool, we will request that you come to a help session.  This will allow us to continue to provide customer service to all employees in a timely manner.   CLICK HERE to access the cost estimation tool.

Getting Started Navigating the 4J Benefits Web Pages

Since benefits vary by employee group, you typically want to start by selecting the menu item that corresponds to your employee group from the blue list on the left. The links below have also been provided for your convenience:

Administrative Benefits Classified Benefits Licensed Benefits Licensed Sub Benefits

Then you can focus in on specific topics in the submenu knowing the answers pertain to your group.  Broader topics that apply to all employee groups can also be found in the blue menu on the left, such as "Forms" and "FAQs" (Frequently Asked Questions).

Search for Keywords

A quick way to find the information you need is to use the search box in the upper-right corner of this page.  Just type in a word or phrase and click the "Search" button.  This will pull up a list of every page on the 4J site containing that word or phrase.
