When purchasing, Eugene School District schools are obligated to purchase from OETC.  It is especially important in the case of SMART, Epson projectors and AverMedia document cameras as we are getting low prices based on how much we purchase (MAP-E contract) and government contracts.  OETC is supposed to have the lowest prices based on the consortium agreement.  If someone finds an item at two verifiable sources that is lower than OETC then they can purchase from another vendor.  If someone does find a discrepency in pricing (at the two verifiable sources) please contact OETC directly or Misty Forsman (forsman@4j.lane.edu).  We need to make sure OETC is aware of pricing discrepencies.
