It is the policy of Lane County School District 4J that district facilities shall be made available, under capable and responsible adult (age 18) supervision, for community activities of an educational, recreational or civic nature.  Lane County School District 4J reserves the right to grant or deny permission for use of district facilities at its sole discretion.

Use of Lane County School District 4J for church, partisan, policical or sectarian purposes may be granted; however, such approval in no way implies Lane County School District 4J’s endorsement or sponsorship of these activities. Please reference Board Policy KG.

Due to School and District activities, limited staffing and building maintenance, buildings are only available for use or rental during the below time frames.

No June use or rentals due to extra district activities, events, graduations, and maintenance.  Some exceptions will be made for grass fields if prior approval from the Facilities Management Office and does not interfere with district activies, events, graduation, and maintenance.

All requests must be submitted two weeks prior to the requested use or rental date.

OCTOBER – MAY

Facility use or rental is only available after school hours, district activities, and athletics.

JULY – MID-AUGUST

Limited summer building use or rental.  Only specific buildings will be available.  These will only be scheduled after district summer school, district activities, district staff trainings, and district maintenance has been scheduled.

WEEKEND USE

Weekend use or rentals will be subject to staff availability and charged extra fees.  The additional fees can be found on the FACILITY USE FEE SCHEDULE page and are subject to the hours that will be determined by the Facility Management Office.

All turf field use or rentals are scheduled through the City of Eugene and after school hours, school activities, and school athletics.  To use or rent turf fields contact the City of Eugene link provided here.
