Add Your Gmail Account to the Native Mail App on iOS
Here’s how to add your Gmail account to the native Mail app on iOS (iPhone or iPad):
📱 If installed, first delete the Zimbra mail account on your iPhone:
🧭 Steps to Delete Zimbra Account on iPhone

Open Settings
Launch the Settings app on your iPhone. - Scroll down and tap Apps.
	Tap Mail.
 - 
	
Go to Mail Accounts
Scroll down and tap Mail, then Accounts (in iOS 14+) or Mail Accounts. - 
	
Select Your Zimbra Account
Tap the Zimbra account you want to remove. - 
	
Tap “Delete Account”
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account (or Sign Out). When prompted, confirm by tapping Delete from My iPhone. 
✅ What Happens
- 
	
Removes all Zimbra mail, folders, calendar entries, contacts, and notes from your iPhone.
 
📱 Add your Gmail account to your iPhone:
- 
	
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
 - Scroll down and tap Apps.
 - 
	
Tap Mail.
 - 
	
Tap Accounts.
 - 
	
Tap Add Account.
 - 
	
Select Google.
 - 
	
Enter your 4J email address and tap Next.
 - 
	
Enter your password and tap Next.
- 
		
If you have 2-Step Verification, follow the prompts.
 
 - 
		
 - 
	
You’ll see options to sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes.

Make sure Mail is toggled on.
 
 - 
		
 - 
	
Tap Save.
 
✅ Done!
Now open the Mail app, and your Gmail inbox should be there. Note: It may take up to an hour for your emails to populate in the Mail app.
