Eugene School District 4J

School choice season for the 2025–26 school year is almost here.

In Eugene School District 4J, every school offers students excellent educational opportunities. Students may enroll in their neighborhood school at any time or request to enroll in a different 4J school for 2025-26 school year during the month of January. School choice requests are accepted in an order determined by lottery. To be included in the annual school choice lottery, 4J residents must submit a request between January 1–31. Families are invited to explore their school choice options, including their neighborhood school, during the January school choice period. 

Residents living outside of our district’s boundaries who want their child to attend a 4J school next year apply later, March 1–31.

School Visits

Learn about your neighborhood school and more! During the month of January, every school will hold both in-person and virtual information sessions so families can learn more about the schools they are interested in, with an opportunity for questions.
