Project Hope: Registration Opens Soon
SAVE THE DATE! Families with enrolled 4J students can begin registering on Monday, Aug. 18, starting at 7 a.m., for the annual Project Hope back-to-school giveaways later this month.
The giveaways are scheduled by appointment only from 1-4 p.m. at Arts & Technology Academy, 1650 W. 22nd Ave., on Saturday, Aug. 23, and at Howard Elementary School, 700 Howard, Ave., on Sunday, Aug. 24. Families can secure tickets by visiting one of the following websites when they go live on the morning of Aug. 18:
Each student must be present with their own individual ticket (parents do not need tickets) to pick up new athletic shoes, socks and backpacks filled with school supplies distributed at the event. 4J students can only attend one of the two giveaways.
Project Hope is made possible through the collective effort of more than 100 local churches, organizations and businesses. Each year, it provides about 3,000 students with back-to-school items at five giveaways held in Eugene, Junction City and Springfield. 4J students can only register for the giveaways held at ATA or Howard.
