Climate Action Plan
In 2019, the school board unanimously adopted a climate change resolution that laid the groundwork for action across our district. That same year, 4J joined the city of Eugene’s Climate Collaborative and its Climate Action Plan 2.0. Despite the pause of this work during the coronavirus pandemic, our district’s commitment continued behind the scenes— laying the foundation for a more sustainable return to in-person learning.
NEW! Climate Action Plan
The district has launched its Climate Action Plan, a five-year strategy that brings the 2019 resolution adopted in 2019 to life. Beginning during the 2025–26 school year, this plan will guide climate-conscious practices districtwide through a coordinated effort by 4J's Climate Action Task Force.
