Time Sheets
As stated in the onboarding instructions, your supervisor must sign your timesheet before you submit it. Your completed, signed timesheet must be submitted to Financial Services by the 15th of each month for you to be paid on the last working day of that month. If the 15th falls on a weekend, it should be sent to Financial Services on the preceding Friday. This is your responsibility; however, most on-site office staff will send your timesheet for you in the district mail.
Pay Rate
The rate of pay for students is Minimum Wage.
Pay Day
You are paid on the last working day of the month. Checks will be direct deposited if you set it up or mailed to your home.
Pay Period
The pay period for students is the 16th through the 15th of the following month, to be paid the last working day of the month. Example: You work February 20 through March 7. You submit your timesheet to Financial Services before March 15. You will be paid for this work on the last working day of March.
Work Days/Hours
You are allowed to work either 3 or 4 hours per day depending on your work site. Students can work student attendance days only plus an additional 5 days either before the school year starts or after the school year ends. Days missed due to an absence cannot be made up at a later time. Site hours are as follows:
Resignation/Termination of Employment
If you chose to quit your position you will need to provide HR with a letter of resignation. This letter should include your first and last name, the last day you will work, your signature, and the date of that signature. There are many examples of a resignation letter online if you need help with the wording.
