Guest Teachers may be eligible for District medical insurance. Eligibility is deteremined based on the amount of days you worked the prior school year. The total days worked can be comprised of full days, half days, or a combination of both. 

• To be eligible for medical insurance with a District contribution, your total days worked must be at least 100 regular days. 
• To be eligible for for self-pay only (no District contribution), your total days worked must be at least 50 regular days. 

If you meet the eligibility requirements the Sub Desk will notify you prior to the start of the new school year.  Even if you waive your benefits for the step increase, you must complete your enrollment paperwork.

• To maintain eligiblity for benefits after your first eligible year with a District contribution, your total days worked must be at least 80 regular days.
• To maintain eligiblity for benefits after your first eligible year without a District contribution, your total days worked must be at least 30.
