Back to School Technology Tips

- Check Your Accounts Early
- Make sure you can log in to email, calendar, LMS (Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.), and grading systems before school starts.
- Organize Your new Gmail Inbox and Google Calendar
- Log in to Gmail to make sure your Zimbra information is migrated to Gmail and Google Calendar.
- Get familiar with Gmail and Google Calendar and make sure you can access your important information in the new systems.
- Visit the Migration website and check out the Training Hub area for resources to help you with this transition.
- Set up email filters or labels to manage messages.
- Create your new Signature for emails.
- Add key dates (staff meetings, PD days, grading deadlines) to your Google Calendar.
- Create recurring events for prep periods, office hours, or duty schedules.
- Set-up Mobile access to Your Gmail and Google Calendars (optional).
- Know Where to Get Help if You Need it

- Submit a Support Ticket for an issue your experiencing.
- Visit the Migration Website if you need help with Gmail or Google Calendar.
