Here are simple, easy instructions for transferring ownership of a Google Meet—both before and during the meeting:
Open Google Calendar
Go to your 4J Google Calendar and find the event with the Google Meet link.
Click on the Event
Select the calendar event to open the details.
Click the Three Dots (⋮)
It’s in the top right corner of the event pop-up.

A new box will appear.
Enter the New Owner’s Email
Type in their email address.
Click “Send”
They’ll get an email to accept ownership.

Join the Google Meet
Click on the Host Controls icon (shield with a lock, bottom right corner)
Turn on Host Management
Click the People icon (bottom right corner)
Find the person you want to give control to
Click the three dots next to their name → Select "Add as co-host"
✅ Now they can manage the meeting like muting others, admitting people, and starting recordings.
