Note: The first 2 weeks of kindergarten will have a staggered attendance schedule with our Smart Start Schedule.

JOIN US FOR KITS (KIDS IN TRANSITION TO SCHOOL) Program

KITS will be offered at 2 regional locations with morning options as follows:
Howard: 9:30 - 12:30 and Chavéz: 9:00 - 12:00
KITS is free to all incoming kindergarten students while spaces are available!
During the KITS program your kids will: Learn to make friends & cooperate and build beginning reading & counting skills.
You will: Learn skills to reduce parenting stress and learn how to connect with your child’s school.
Eugene Summer KITS is a 3 hour program and will run 4 days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from June 30, 2025 through August 7, 2025.

KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION
Your school will hold an orientation on one of the following days: May 5th, May 6th, May 9th.
Check back here closer to the event for your school’s specific date and time.
DISTRICT-WIDE KINDERGARTEN WELCOME EVENT
Join us for this family friendly event to get excited about kindergarten. Games, prizes, photo opps, food carts, story time and friends!
