Churchill's Interim Principal to Stay in Role through June
Churchill High School Interim Principal Justin Huntley will continue in his role at the school through the remainder of the school year.
“In my short time at Churchill I've become vested in the long-term success of the staff and students," Huntley said. "I hope this will provide stability and create systems that will create a path for success for the future administration."
Also staying on through the school year will be assistant principals Rob Hess and Kim Vangel. Interim Assistant Principal Beth Kruziki and leadership consultant Casandra Kamens will return to their regular roles in the school district and continue to be available to support Churchill’s administrative team, as needed.
“We’re really pleased that Justin and the core team is able and willing to keep supporting Churchill staff and students through the school year,” said Larry Williams, assistant superintendent of academic access and advancement. “The continuity and positive relationships they have developed make a huge difference.”
The group of administrators started working together to support Churchill at the end of October. In the spring, the district will begin a formal recruitment process for a permanent principal and assistant principal to join Assistant Principal Vangel for the next school year.
