Policies are statements adopted by the school board that set forth the purposes and prescribe in general terms the organization and program of a school system. They create a framework within which the superintendent and their staff can discharge their assigned duties with positive direction. They tell what is wanted. | District Policy Manual
* School board policies JBAA and EBBA have been revised and adopted, particularly to indicate that for students with both 504 Plans and Health Plans, the Health Plans must be referenced on the 504 plan. They are considered part of the 504 Plan. |
Administrative regulations are detailed directions developed by the superintendent to put policy into practice. They tell how, by whom, where, and when things are to be done. | Administrative Regulations
The Student Rights & Responsibilities Handbook addresses certain rights and responsibilities of students and expectations for student conduct necessary to maintain a climate of respect and safety. The handbook represents a set of guidelines; it does not describe all behaviors or detail the many steps schools take to assist students in making good decisions. Student Rights & Responsibilities
Each policy and administrative regulation is designated with a code. An administrative regulation is coded with an "-AR" at the end of the policy code. For example, ACA is a policy; ACA-AR is an administrative regulation.
