The Eugene School District 4J (4J) Educational Equity Advisory Committee (EEAC) was established in alignment with Oregon’s Senate Bill 732 (SB 732) and 4J’s Policy Code BCFA. The EEAC is part of the district’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, providing a collaborative framework for addressing educational disparities, particularly those affecting historically underserved communities.
The EEAC supports Eugene School District 4J in advancing educational equity through advisory to the Board and Superintendent on policies that affect underrepresented groups. The committee works to elevate community voices, advocate for system-wide improvements, and guide inclusive policy development, ensuring that all district decisions align with principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
