OSEA-Classified Union Labor Negotiations (2022)

Eugene School District 4J’s classified staff are represented by Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA). Bargaining teams for the district and the union have begun a series of bargaining sessions for the next 4J/OSEA collective bargaining agreement. Updates on the negotiations process will be posted on this webpage.

Bargaining sessions are scheduled on the following dates:

  • Friday, July 15, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.
  • Wednesday, July 27, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.
  • Thursday, August 4, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.
  • Wednesday, August 31, 10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.
  • Friday, September 16, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.
  • Thursday, September 29, 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.
  • Tuesday, October 11, Noon-7:00 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.
  • Thursday, October 27, Noon-7:00 p.m., 4J Education Center, 200 N. Monroe St.

Joint meetings of the two teams will be open to observers unless otherwise announced. Caucus meetings of individual teams will be closed to observers. Observer expectations are posted in the meeting room.
